Forest Bathing
Forest Bathing is a mindfulness nature connection experience that helps cultivate greater wellbeing and develop appreciation and love for nature. A Forest Bathing walk typically lasts 2 hours and it is focused on slowing down and coming back in tune with the natural pace of earth and our own body. A walk involves contemplative walking, sensory and creative nature connection invitations, sharing circles and a foraged herbal tea ceremony.
Seasonal Nature Connection & Foraging Workshops
Nature Connection & Foraging workshops help people to connect to their heritage, local environment and all the wild and wonderful medicine that is growing on our doorstep. Participants will learn how to identify plants and trees, the medicinal qualities and magical folklore stories, ethical and sustainable foraging practices and why its important to keep alive and pass on the knowledge of herbs and their healing qualities. There will be opportunity for mindful nature connection practices, to explore deeper connection with the earth and open up all the senses in ways you may not do in everyday life. .
Forest School
Forest School is a child led educational approach to outdoor learning that offers children and young people hands on learning experiences in a woodland or any natural environment that has some trees.
Forest School programmes promote the well-being of children through quality time spent outdoors, in nature, on a long-term or recurring basis, allowing for the holistic learning and development of the child through child centred activities. Children and young people are supported and encouraged to explore their relationship to the wild, learn creative skills, engage in child-led free play, be in community with their peers, nuture future earth advocates and experience all the benefits and wonders nature has to offer.
